Problem:
The shopping cart (or
wish list) does not remember the items I placed in it.
Cause: Most likely cookies are not enabled in your browser.
Cookies are used to track the items you've added to your shopping cart,
or items you added to your personalized wish list, and are stored in a
small text file placed on your computer. If you do not have cookies enabled
in your browser, the shopping cart cannot keep track of the products you
are attempting to order or add to your wish list.
NOTE: Cookies cannot harm your computer, and do not contain any
personal or private information. You can find out more about our use of
cookies on our "Privacy
Policy Page."
Solution:
- If you are
not sure whether cookies are enabled in your browser, you can user our
"Cookie
Test" to determine whether cookies are enabled.
- If you find
cookies are not enabled in your browser, see our "How
to Enable Cookies" page for instructions on enabling cookies.
- Once your browser
is set to accept cookies, you should be able to successfully place an
order.
- If you are
sure your browser is set to accept cookies, yet you are still experiencing
problems - please follow the instructions provided below to delete the
Mobility Transfer Systems cookie file from your system.
Problem:
I'm getting an error message
when I attempt to place an order.
Cause: On very
rare occasions, the cookies we store on your computer (in a small text
file) to track items you add to your shopping cart, or to your wish list,
may become corrupted. If the cookies file becomes corrupted you will not
be able to successfully place an order.
Solution:
- Click on this
"Delete
the Mobility Transfer Systems cookie file" link to delete the
cookie file. When you click on the link you should see page that says
"Clear Cookies: Cookies have been cleared."
- Close down all browser windows,
then relaunch your browser.
- Return to the
http://www.mtsmedequip.com Web site. Now that the cookies set by the
shopping cart have been cleared, you should be able to successfully
place an order.
- If you are
sure your browser is set to accept cookies (see the first section, above),
and you have deleted the Mobility Transfer Systems cookie file from
your system, yet you are still having problems - please send
a note to our Webmaster with a step-by-step description of the steps
you followed up to the point you see the failure. Our Webmaster will
then attempt to recreate the failure on our end, and will work with
you to find a solution to the problem.
NOTE: Clearing
the cookies file will clear out your shopping cart, so you will have to
re-select the items you wish to order. Also, when you "Proceed to
Checkout", you will see the "Order Login" screen again
- because the cookie file you deleted also tracked your login status.
If you set up an account with us (using an e-mail address and password),
simply enter the e-mail address and password you used to set up the account.
If you did not set up an account with us, and do not wish to, simply use
